Rubbed Sage is simply whole sage crumbled apart, which gives it a lighter, downy texture. It has a warm, woody, spicy, astringent aroma and taste. It goes well with poultry, stuffing, pork, focaccia, breads, muffins, and butter-based sauces for pasta.
